| A Short Biography (approximately 200 words) | Dr. Lujain Bitar is a Syrian thinker and university professor. She holds a PhD in Arabic political literature from Latakia University and a postgraduate degree from Harvard University. She has taught at Arab and international universities and has published numerous critical studies in Arabic and English, most notably: “Images of Globalization in Umayyad Feminist Poetry,” “The Penetration of Social Darwinism into the Sanctity of Reviving the Arabic Language,” “Images of Character Assassination in the Poetry of Yazid ibn Muawiyah,” “The Sustainability of the Arabic Language and Well-being: A Language Policy in the Poetry of Nizar Qabbani,” “The Importance of Placebo in Umayyad Thought,” “The Literature of the Emiratis: Habit or Renewal?” and “The Intellectual Balance Between the Umayyad Policy of Tolerance and Firmness in the Current Syrian Stance.” The Arabic epic of Anna was written to create an image of a human being who adapts to cosmic transformations, and the Encyclopedia of Shams had the largest share in her writings, which exceeded one hundred knowledge stories, in which she instilled modern concepts that are in line with the child’s ambition, so as to stimulate his curiosity and establish the building of his critical mind.
