Ala’a Irshaid is a PhD Researcher in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) with 19 years of experience teaching Arabic as a Second Language across leading international schools in the United Arab Emirates. She currently serves as an Arabic Language (B) Teacher in the IB Programme at Dubai International Academy – Al Barsha.

She is a certified TOT Trainer accredited by KHDA, a member of the INEXC Committee for Innovation Excellence, and an active contributor to SPARK, a global initiative dedicated to advancing language education.

Passionate about curriculum design, inquiry-based learning, and empowering multilingual learners, Ala’a continues to combine research, instructional expertise, and training to elevate the teaching and learning of Arabic for non-native speakers.
